Meet our Teachers!
Ms. Pearl
Owner/ Director
Hello! My name is Ms. Pearl and I have been at ALC since 2019 and could not ask to be part of a better school family. When I first started at ALC, I came in training as the Assistant Director and loved every minute of it. Now, I'm the owner! During the last couple of years, I have worked hard to give ALC my 100% while also going to school to finish my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Development and Education. I always have my students and their families in mind as I go through my college courses at Southern Oregon University. Also at SOU, I am working towards gaining a certificate in Holistic Education. I am also continually working on getting my step’s higher on the Step Program belonging to The Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education, currently a step 10. I was born and raised in California but will never go back! I love Oregon too much to go anywhere else, and how could I ever leave the beautiful lakes, rivers, and the gorgeous Southern Oregon coast? My twin girls, Partner, and I are so grateful for ALC and for all the beautiful families we have the privilege to serve.

Hello there! I was born in California but moved up to Medford with my mom and sister when I was 9. I have three kiddos of my own! I have taught them from home in their early years and also volunteered at their preschools! I have always enjoyed helping littles learn and discover new things! So when I got an interview with Ms.Pearl I was super excited! I absolutely love it here!

Hello! My name is Ariana, and I'm a recent graduate from SOU. I majored in criminal justice and political science, and aspire to be a detective one day. As for now, I'm all about helping and teaching children. I love kids of all ages, but I'm especially good with the younger kiddos who are just now learning who they are, and what life is all about. I'm excited to be part of their journey of learning!
Note from the Owner: Ms. Ariana is sweet, patient, loving, and is fully attentive to our wonderful little students. She thrives during craft time, and the kiddos love her! We are grateful to have her on our teacher team. A member of our team since December of 2024.

Our structured environment is filled with an educationally rich curriculum that invites exploration while providing plenty of room for imaginative play. 🧩 We recognize that while a solid foundation for kindergarten is important, playtime is essential for their growth. 🌱 It’s the magical way children discover their world, helping them grow cognitively, physically, emotionally, and socially.
To inspire play, we create exciting dramatic play centers and offer natural opportunities for children to connect and interact with one another. 🧸🤝 Our dedicated teachers are here to cheer on these little explorers as they embark on their learning adventures. 📚🚀 Above all, we aim to spark curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.

We are Open Monday-Friday from 745am-545pm, and are Considered a Year Round Preschool!
745am-815am: Good Morning! Open Play
8:30am: Breakfast
9:00am: Preschool/ Circle Time/ Craft
10:15am: AM Snack
11:00am: Outside Playtime
12:00pm: Lunch
12:30pm: Story Time/ Reading Time
1:00pm: Nap Time/ Quiet Time
3:15pm: PM Snack Time
4:00pm: Outside Playtime or Craft/ Dance Party!
5:45pm: Last Goodbyes! See Everyone Tomorrow!

We take great pride in using efficient and non-toxic Melaleuca products to clean our toys and all the surfaces that little hands touch. Safety is always our #1!
Our Facility is Equipped with a Reme Halo Air Purification System
The Reme Halo is a state-of-the-art filtration and sanitizing device. We rest easy knowing that we are breathing clean healthy air, and also eliminating germs!

Tuition
Full Time Care
$1,125 a Month
30-40 Hours of Care Per Week. Hourly Breakdown Is $5.19 an hour
Part Time Care
$7.75 an Hour
Requires a Fixed Weekly Schedule. Minimum of 15 Hours Per Week.
Drop in Care
$7.75 an hour
No Fixed Schedule Required. No Minimum Hours or Weekly Schedule. Based on Availability.
Additional Fees
Potty Training
An Additional 50 Cents an Hour is added to the Hourly Rate for Children who are Potty Training. Any Child Currently in Pull ups or Diapers is Considered Potty Training.
We Accept DHS!
One Time Registration Fee
$100 Registration Fee for Full Time and Part Time Kiddos. $50 Registration Fee for Drop In Kiddos Only!
Yearly Supply Fee
Help Us Replenish Our Beloved Art Supplies!
To keep our creative corner bursting with colorful fun, we ask for a $25 yearly supply fee on the anniversary of your child's start date. But guess what? If you prefer, you can bring in $25 worth of art supplies instead! Let’s keep our little Picassos inspired and our art station overflowing with everything they need to create masterpieces! 🎨✨
