Meet the Owner and Our Terrific Teachers
Ms. Pearl
Hello! My name is Ms. Pearl and I have been at ALC since 2019 and could not ask to be part of a better school family. When I first started at ALC, I came in training as the Assistant Director and loved every minute of it. Now, I'm the owner! During the last couple of years, I have worked hard to give ALC my 100% while also going to school to finish my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Development and Education. I always have my students and their families in mind as I go through my college courses at Southern Oregon University. Also at SOU, I am working towards gaining a certificate in Holistic Education. I am also continually working on getting my step’s higher on the Step Program belonging to The Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education, currently a step 10. I was born and raised in California but will never go back! I love Oregon too much to go anywhere else, and how could I ever leave the beautiful lakes, rivers, and the gorgeous Southern Oregon coast? My twins, family, and I are so grateful for ALC and for all the beautiful families we have the priviledge to serve.

I have taught them from home in their early years and also volunteered at their preschools! I have always enjoyed helping littles learn and discover new things! So when I got an interview with Ms.Pearl I was super excited! I have been here since 2024 and I absolutely love it!

Hello! I joined the ALC family in 2024. I’m originally from Oklahoma, and I moved to Oregon in 2016. I have three younger siblings who are 13, 6 and 3. So I grew up helping take care of my siblings, and that’s how I knew I wanted to make a career out of working with kiddos! To me the best part about being with kiddos is seeing how unique they are in their own little ways. I have a one year old daughter and she is the highlight of my life, there is never a time where she doesn’t make me smile.

Ms. Kaylee is so sweet with our kiddos, and I can tell how much joy she gets out of working with kids. She is eager to learn and advance her education in Early Childhood Development, and she is quickly becoming a teacher ALC can't do without!

Note from the Owner: Ms. Kit started at ALC as a high school volunteer and was eventually hired on! They have showed a passion for working with kiddos since day one, and they are always excited for their days at ALC. Ms. Kit is very creative and artistic, which shines through with their activities and crafts with our kiddos. Our kids adore Ms. Kit, and we are very fortunate to have them on our teacher team!
