At Active Learning Center Preschool and Child Care (ALC), we believe that every child’s potential is limitless. We believe that is given a chance to flourish, every child may become a great scientist, artist, or a poet. We believe in introducing children to multiple mediums of expression (art, poetry, logic/science, music, etc.) We offer a structured environment and an educationally rich curriculum, along with ample opportunities for self directed play. While we believe in the importance of structure and kindergarten prep, we appreciate the importance of play. We believe that play is one of the most important ways that children learn about the world around them. Play is vital for their cognitive, physical, emotional and social development. To help foster play, we provide ample dramatic play centers and natural opportunities for children to interact. As teachers, we are here to support children in their educational experience. Above all, we hope to help foster and encourage a curiosity which will maintain their life long love of learning. ALC exists to not only help children develop kindergarten readiness skills, but also to encourage children to dream big. After all, given the right environment, there is no limit to what they can achieve!

We believe in fostering a fun and safe place for our kids in our child care program. Our children know that learning about the world around is anything but boring. Throughout the year, in our preschool we explore the basic concepts of Biology, Geography, Art and Music.

Not Potty trained? No Problem! Our child care program accepst children as young as 2.5 yrs and Up, Potty Trained or Not! We work together with parents to build a child's confidence in knowing that they can achieve their goals.
